FAQ: RSI Research Day 2018

 

When and where is research day?

May 10th, 2018 9:00-5:00 PM Chestnut Conference Centre (89 Chestnut St.)

 

Do I need to attend research day?

If you are a rehabilitation sciences research stream student, you MUST attend research day. Refer to RSI handbook for more information.

 

Do I need to present a poster at research day?

1st year Master’s and PhD students are encouraged to present. Preliminary data or research proposals are encouraged if students do not have main results. This is an excellent opportunity to receive feedback and gain experience.

2nd year Master’s students MUST present.

2nd year PhD students are encouraged to present. If they do not present, they MUST email and explain why to the graduate coordinator Dina Brooks at dina.brooks@utoronto.ca. Preliminary results, literature reviews, comprehensive exam information, or research proposals are all viable types of posters. This is an excellent opportunity to receive feedback and gain experience.

3rd and 4th year PhD students MUST present.
