The 2017 RSI Research Day will take place on Wednesday May 17th from 9am-5pm in the Macleod Auditorium in the Medical Sciences Building. This annual event aims to showcase all of our students’ phenomenal work through oral and poster presentations.
We are very pleased to announce that our invited speaker is Christine Elliot, Patient Ombudsman. Ms. Elliot is the co-founder and a director of the Abilities Centre, a sports, recreation and arts facility for people of all abilities located in Whitby. She has been an advocate for vulnerable people for many years and has served as a volunteer with many community organizations, including the Grandview Children’s Centre and Durham Mental Health Services, which named one of their homes in her honour.
The full agenda for the day can be found here.
